It's approximately 3500 years before Anakin Skywalker was discovered by Qui-Gon Jinn on the desert planet of Tatooine and war is little more than a blink away. After years of peace, the Galactic Republic was the bearer of a sudden and ruthless attack by a resurfacing Sith Empire. With their homeworld of Korriban reclaimed and the Jedi Temple of Coruscant destroyed, the Sith were all but set to wipe out the Jedi and the Republic. However, instead of utter domination, the Treaty of Coruscant was put into place, which put a halt to the conflicts. Despite this, small battles still take place on neutral planets, such as Balmorra and Tatooine, yet these conflicts do not break the Treaty of Coruscant, so neither side can risk waging war. Both the Sith and Jedi work on building their ranks for the inevitable war that will start up again. The Jedi train on Tython, where a new temple has been constructed, while the Sith train acolytes at the Sith Academy on Korriban. The Jedi Council oversees the planet of Tython, second in command only to the Supreme Chancellor, and the Sith are ruled by the Dark Council in the absence of the supposedly missing Emperor.

The Treaty is fragile at best and a rising number of skirmishes have been shaking the treaty hard. War will happen soon and both sides are already preparing for battle. Recruitment at the Sith Academy has been raised thanks to the new policy to accept all those who are Force-sensitive and the Jedi's numbers have been growing just as much. With war in the air, both the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire prepare for the first shots and get ready for the intense, heated battles to follow.

Name: Darth Drismal
Gender: Male
Age: 39
Race: Zabrak
Appearance:
Allegiance: Sith Empire
Class: Sith
Personality: Drismal is as ruthless and merciless as they come. The word "mercy" isn't in his vocabulary, neither is "kindness". He kills without discrimination and has gained a reputation of being a bad Sith to cross. He also has a very short temper and is very impatient. Making him even slightly annoyed runs the risk of him killing you without a second thought.
Backstory: Drismal was born on Iridonia and from an early age was seen as Force-sensitive. He was trained for most of his life before being taken to the Sith Academy at the age of 20 to go through his final Trials. After that, he was apprenticed to Darth Baras, who he later killed in front of the Dark Council and gained the title of Darth. There are stories about Drismal's exploits, a particular favourite in canteenas being how he killed half a planet's population just to prove a point. He currently travels in his starship, the Fury, with his trusty crew.
Weapon/s: Dual lightsabers

Other: He wears the respirator because of his nose being cut off and half his jaw being flayed by Ka-Korian two years ago.

Name: Darth Occlus
Gender: Male
Age: 42
Race: Pureblood Sith
Appearance:
Allegiance: Sith Empire
Class: Sith
Personality: Occlus is a curious Sith. He's significantly more merciful than other members of the Empire, however he will only ever show mercy if his victim would serve a purpose for him. He is also very specific about repaying debts, whether to benefit or kill his debtors. He also has somewhat of a sense of humour. He is also extremely interested in ancient and powerful artefacts.
Backstory: Formerly known as Srintul, Occlus was captured by an idiotic slave trader and given over to the Sith Academy, for a hefty sum. After being apprenticed to Darth Zash, Occlus began his ascent to power. After killing Darth Zash then Darth Thanaton, Occlus gained his title when he became a member of the Dark Council. Since then, he's travelled the galaxy with his crew, searching for artefacts to increase his power.
Weapon/s: Double-bladed purple lightsaber
Other: None

Name: Ka-Korian
Gender: Female
Age: 39
Race: Human
Appearance:
Allegiance: Galactic Republic
Class: Jedi
Personality: Ka-Korian is one of the most peaceful yet underestimated people in the galaxy. No matter the situation, she will always attempt to find a peaceful solution and cause as little bloodshed as possible. Because of her love for peace, her foes often mistake her as weak and, to their surprise, she proves them wrong with a powerful affinity for the Force and skilled lightsaber skills.
Backstory: Ka-Korian was born on Alderaan and spent her childhood in the custody of the Jedi. She was trained as Satele Shan's padawan for a time before she became an official Jedi Knight on Tython at the young age of 23. Seven years later, she earned the title of Jedi Master and has since travelled the galaxy, attempting to spread peace and end conflict where she can.
Weapon/s: Double-bladed yellow lightsaber
Other: None

Name: Malkirth
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Race: Miraluka
Appearance:
Allegiance: Galactic Republic
Class: Jedi
Personality: Malkirth is a very easy-going Jedi who has a reputation for bending the rules a bit. He tends to crack jokes frequently and will usually flirt with a cute girl he sees. He also finds it hard to forgive and if someone wrongs him, he'll be hard-pressed to carry on without paying the person back. This has sometimes resulted in him killing whoever he holds the grudge against.
Backstory: Malkirth was born on Coruscant and, being Miraluka, was taken by the Jedi immediately for his Force-sensitivity. He spent nearly his whole life training under the Jedi Order and while most would think this would make him a very strict Jedi, it instead drove him to go against the Jedi Code slightly, hence his flirting and joking. He was padawan to Ka-Korian for a time before becoming a Jedi Knight, however it is doubtful he'll ever make the rank of Master in the near future.
Weapon/s: Blue lightsaber
Other: A little susceptible to being seduced by the Dark Side

Name: Meldoran
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Race: Bith
Appearance:
Allegiance: Galactic Empire
Class: Jedi
Personality: Meldoran is a very wise and enjoyable Bith. While many of his kind are often teased for their sensitive hearing, large eyes or lack of physical attractiveness, Meldoran manages to stand above his species' stereotype with an enjoyable and knowledgeable personality. While most would crack under pressure, he manages to keep calm and let his vast wisdom guide him while even showing a sense of humor. His non-threatening demeanor makes his enemies assume that Meldoran is a simple pushover. These enemies often find themselves dead.
Backstory: Born on the Bith home planet of Clak'dor VII, Maldoran spent the first 19 years of his life blissfully unaware of his force potential playing in a local canteena band and studying to become a scientist. It wasn't until he accidentally force-pushed Darth V'alka in a bar and injured her severely that he realized his potential. Jedi training came very easy to him and Maldoran mastered the style of dual-wielded lightsabers as well as showing his proficiency in basic single-blade techniques and force powers. While currently a knight, Maldoran hopes he'll soon be granted the title of "Jedi Master". He currently carries out the Jedi order, wherever that may carry him.
Weapon/s: Dual green lightsabers.
Other: Unlike other Biths, Maldoran has figured out how to use the force to evade his head exploding when suffering an attack via a sonic grenade. However, this still causes him severe pain.

Name: V'alka
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Race: Darthomirian
Appearance:
Allegiance: Sith Empire
Class: Sith
Personality: With anger and resentment bleeding from her being, Darth V'alka will stop at nothing to get her way, be it bloodshed, manipulation or torture. She works in the shadows and the poor jedi that fall victim to her blade often never know what hit them. Her hatred falls not only on the jedi order, but sometimes at the Sith Academy as well.
Backstory: Being born as someone groomed from a young age to carry out the sith's order, V'alka was taught at a young age to let anger be her guiding moral compass. Despite a small bit of mercy at times, she seemed to be on her way to Sith Mastery. That was, until she managed to lose her status by failing to murder a target at a canteena in Clak'dor VII. Now, she must work her way back up the ranks starting from a Sith Acolyte to hopefully achieve the Lordship she had before.
Weapon/s: A single bladed red lightsaber.
Other: She harbors extreme resentment for a certain Bith...

Name: Fiol
Gender: Female
Age: 29
Race: Lorrdian
Appearance: With helmet

Without helmet

Allegiance: None, but favors the Sith Empire
Class: Bounty Hunter
Personality: A very cold and quiet individual, most people have never heard Fiol utter a word. Usually, the stone cold killer simply completes her job so she can get paid and move on to the next mission. Fiol will use almost any method to get her kill, though without being stupid.
Backstory: Trained from a young age to be a member of an elite assassin team from her home world, Lorrd, she eventually found it much more profitable to do work on her own, away from the gang. This mean that she had to, unfortunately, slaughter them all to avoid any loose ends, but for her that didn't matter. Since then, the Sith Empire has been one of her top employers and often find themselves impressed with her efficiency. Even minor Sith Lords find themselves slain at her hands.
Weapon/s: Advanced automatic Lorrd military grade Blaster Rifle with enhanced optics, 2 Captain's blaster pistols, several thermal detonators, 1 Elite Sith grade sniper rifle and an array of poisonous darts.
Other: Her jetpack and unique fighter jet make her a hard opponent to catch, even for a jedi.

Name: (King) Jeremiah
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Race: Human
Appearance: With hood.
Without hood.
Allegiance: Galactic Republic
Class: Jedi
Personality: Jeremiah is a very odd and exotic jedi. Having been isolated so long with a different species and essentially ruling as their king, he grew up trained to be a jedi in a most unusual manner which makes it hard for him to get along with his fellow jedi. However, with a strong desire to do good and a will that's impossible to break, Jeremiah never seems to break from the true light side of the force.
Backstory: Born on Munto Codru as the son to a dying female jedi master, Jeremiah was trained at a young age to utilize his many gifts and talents. He has, seemingly, an incredibly large understanding of the force. With the invasion of the Sith in Munto Codru, he fled to the nearest jedi temple to register. The rest was history and currently he works to bring justice wherever he can. He currently holds the rank of Jedi Knight.
Weapon/s: A single golden curved-hilt lightsaber.
Other: None.

As the sun rose over the horizon of Tython, Padawans, Knights and Jedi Masters awoke from their slumber and began a day's training and teaching. Shuttles travelled to and from the orbital station, as Republic representatives and Jedi made their way back to the planet to discuss politics or return from missions and Jedi left to travel the galaxy and ensure the Treaty of Coruscant was upheld. In the fields behind the Jedi Temple, Padawans trained with their vibroblades against each other and their tutors or meditated on the Force and the Jedi Code, honing their skills all around and hoping to one day become Jedi Masters. On one patch of grass, ten Padawans were knelt on the ground, heads bowed and eyes closed as they meditated. In front of them, Master Ka-Korian meditated also, her lightsaber on the ground at her knees and her hands on her thighs. She breathed calmly, her mind one with the Force for the time being. Meanwhile, wielding a vibroblade, Malkirth battled a Padawan with a grin on his face.
"Come on, Zula, remember what I said about keeping your stance wide?" He said before their blades locked and he pushed forward, forcing the young Padawan to yelp as she fell backwards onto her back. She rolled through it, however, and was back on her feet in no time.

Meanwhile, on the rocky planet of Korriban, the sun was setting and cloaking the Sith Academy in darkness. Acolytes wandered around the Valley of the Dark Lords, carrying out tasks and trials for the Overseers in the Academy. On the third floor, the door leading to the Dark Council chambers opened and Darth Occlus walked out. He looked around for a few seconds before making his way to the elevator that went down and to his chambers. He'd been watching a new batch of Acolytes for some time and had grown a liking to one or two of them. He was curious to see if anyone would be left to combat the Kaleesh, he'd seemed like the aggressive sort. Not a good sign, in Occlus' opinion. Reckless violence only ever caused problems. Calculated violence, however, was always a good thing.
Meanwhile, in the quarters across from Occlus', the sound of choking was heard, followed by a sharp, wet snap. A second later, the body of an Acolyte flew from the room and slammed against the wall, falling to the floor, lifeless. Darth Drismal turned back to the holoterminal which displayed a hologram of Darth Marr.
"Apologies, Marr." Drismal said. "I've told the Acolytes time and again never to bother me with trivial matters."
"You know your mission, Drismal." Marr replied, ignoring the excuse. "After you are done on Korriban, go to Makeb and investigate these rumours of the Hutt Cartel trying to gather power." The holoterminal shut off at that and Drismal turned away from it again to begin pacing. Overseer Tremel had just sent the last batch of Acolytes out to kill the Rancor in the Lower Wilds. Drismal'd had his sights on an older Acolyte, however. She never joined the others in trials although she had an aura about her that reminded Drismal much of himself.

Quite happy to be along with other Jedi on Tython, be it even for the short amount of time between assignments, Meldoran found himself rather pleased. As he approached the fields where the young padawan were training, he couldn't help but reminisce of the olden days when he'd found out he was to be a jedi. As he began to come before Master Ka-Korian, for whom he had important news for, he caught a glimpse of the training duel. He'd seen this one around, this Malkirth. While he was sure of his abilities, he always felt a tad uneasy around him. Uncertain, to be exact. Meldoran didn't like to be uncertain. So, trying not to bother Ka-Korian and the young padawans, Meldoran silently joined the meditative group from outside, doing so as discretely and quietly as possible in an effort to see just how attuned to the force these padawans were. A small test to see if they could detect his presence.

It was finally her time. Time to destroy the rancor and prove herself once and for all! These idiots around her; Her fellow students. They would all soon know just how serious she was about exacting her revenge. However, she wasn't blind to the situation. Rancors were dangerous beings who would not hesitate to end lives. Monsters, really. They bore no grudges and felt no remorse for any sith or jedi they happen to squash.
Quietly, using any bit of the force she could to hide in some of the brush, V'alka remained hesitant as she looked on towards the Rancor. She just hoped her fellow students wouldn't be so dumb as to blindly charge it.

"Meldoran." Ka-Korian's voice was soft but confident, as always. Her eyes opened and she turned to look at the Bith Jedi. "What news do you bring?" She glanced at the Padawans, who'd stopped meditating as well, and nodded. They all stood, bowed and turned to carry on with other lessons or to have a little free time. The Jedi Master stood and put her lightsaber back on her hip, turning to face Meldoran. She put her hands behind her back expectantly and spared a very slight glance at Malkirth, who was not facing three Padawans and laughing as he walked backwards, letting them get the upper hand. He'd always been a playful one, never quite growing up all the way.

Two Acolytes had already been killed by a Kaleesh named Kral. The warrior hadn't tried to make the kills secret. As soon as they stepped into the TOmb of Ajunta Pall, he'd just downed them both with his vibroblade, taking out part of his competition. The others had gotten the message and they'd carried on, although he was already thinking about how the rest would die. V'alka had joined only recently, with this trial being for Acolytes only. Still, it wasn't uncommon for Acolytes not of their group to take the prize and win the favour of a Sith Lord.

"Master Ka-Korian, the bounty hunters we've been struggling with from Felucia have been taken care of. We caught their shuttle in the vast space of the outer rim. Almost all of them came quietly. Unfortunately, republic intelligence leads us to believe that there's a greater presence hidden within Felucia's jungles. A sith presence, I'm afraid." Meldoran spoke in his very gentle and humble tone, almost glowing with a uniquely cool attitude. It was, perhaps, done so specifically to not worry the padawans nearby. He also couldn't help but continue to notice the rather childish Malkirth nearby. His enthusiasm for practice almost made him want to pull out vibroblades of his own and join him.

In an effort to focus her vision, V'alka cleared her mind of the angry thoughts. Her revenge would come in time and the Bith idiot Maldoran's head would eventually lay motionless and bloody in her palm. However, a slight disturbance in the force was felt and, turning her attention away from the Rancor (whom obviously wasn't an immediate danger), she sensed a fellow student who'd murdered some of the other Acolytes. With her grip from her cold and pale hand wrapped tight around her metal vibroblade, she carefully followed her instinct. It wasn't long until, a short distance away, she found came upon a Kaleesh. She'd never liked Kaleesh before, and now was certainly no exception. His back was to her and the moment had gotten more and more intense. She slowly, from the shadows of the Tomb of Ajunta Pall, crept towards him in an effort to catch him off guard.

(FUCK, I had a reply all typed out and accidentally closed the tab.)

"Very good, Maldoran." Ka-Korian said with a nod. "I'll convey this information to the Jedi Countil later. How strong was the Dark Side on Felucia?" Her voice turned curious, with a slight hint of hope, almost as if she wanted there to be a Sith there. This was odd for her, as Ka-Korian was known for being loath to fight unless there was no other alternative and she never actively sought out Sith or Imperial forces. Before Maldoran could answer, however, the Jedi Master took a sudden step back and her hand snapped up, a slab of stone thrusting up from the ground and spraying dirt and grass everywhere as a vibroblade sparked and clattered against the stone before falling to the ground. Ka-Korian sighed softly before rolling her eyes and turning to look at Malkirth and the three Padawans, all of whom had expressions akin to children who'd accidentally broken a window with a kickball. A second later, all of the Padawans suddenly pointed at the Miralukan.

The Kaleesh suddenly spun around and his hand snaked out, catching V'alka with a viscious backhand which, thanks to decades of fighting, caused her to spin to the ground.
"You don't belong here, Darth." Kral said mockingly. "Why would Darth Drismal want a failure to teach when he can have a warrior take his life?" He turned and continued to walk towards the Rancor. The remaining two acolytes were suddenly flung backwards and smacked hard against the cave wall as Kral drew the vibroblade from his back. He roared towards the Rancor, which growled and turned at the challenge.

While Maldoran gave Malkirth a dissapointed look, it was hard to tell with being a Bith. Facial expressions weren't really his forte. Despite wanting to make a sarcastic comment, he found it most unfitting of himself in front of the Master jedi. He waited a moment before resuming speaking. "It's not something I've felt before, Master Ka-Korian. It's larger...almost as if it were the presence of multiple sith. Master, I'm afraid it's more than what just I can handle. Do you think you or someone else from the council could accompany me on this journey?" He requested, hinting that he wanted someone of more experience than he to help guide him.

She'd been a fool to let go of her anger before. It was what gave her focus, drive and what allowed her to succeed before. With a large mark on her normally clean face, she grasped her blade and dashed up beside this Kaleesh. Without speaking, she walked closer towards the Rancor; Her blade buzzing as she stuck it carefully out before her. Rancor skin wasn't so tough, but she knew she couldn't use any powers to manipulate it or harm it. It all had to be from her own blade. She seemed to taunt it simply by her focused demeanor. However, despite her eyes being on the rancor, she could sense everything the Kaleesh was doing and hoped to manipulate the situation into one that favored her.

"Multiple Sith?" She crossed her arms and seemed to be in deep thought for a few moments. Eventually, she looked up again and offered a small smile. "Get some rest, Maldoran. I'll let you know when the Council makes a decision." She nodded to him before turning and walking back to the Temple. Meanwhile, Malkirth had left the Padawans to train by themselves as he walked over to a large rock and had a seat. He leaned back and let out a sigh, putting his hands behind his head.

The Rancor roared and swiped at V'alka, its claws digging deep grooves in the stone where she used to be. It swiped again, and again, and again, completely focused on the girl now as it tried to get rid of the nuisance. Meanwhile, Kral hung back, vibroblade still at the ready and poised to attack or defend, whichever he needed to.

Maldoran, hesitating a bit to do so, approached Malkirth slightly after the Master had left. "Mistakes happen, Malkirth. It's important to not let our emotions get the best of us because of them." His tone tried to be reassuring and gentle, as he'd been through hard times much like the other jedi. Not sure of what more he should say and seeing how the situation was hard on him, with displaying childish qualities in front of a master, Maldoran headed quietly back to the temple in order to meditate more and, hopefully, get some rest.

The powerful swipes from the rancor were easy to dodge for the young sith as with each heavy slash and slam of his clawed arms she found herself able to roll and duck in every direction. If she kept it up at this rate then she could likely tire the powerful beast out, but she knew that Kral wouldn't let her. So, as he swung his arm once more, she acted. With immense sound and fury, she force jumped above the swipe and into the base of his hand where she then ricochet'd into the air again and, using the force to increase her speed, slammed down with the vibroblade-first, jarring it into the top of the Rancor's head. As this obviously didn't kill it, she wondered if she could kill 2 birds with one stone and, using a lot of her strength to do so, she twisted the blade forward through the thick skull of the beast in the general direction of Kral, hoping that it would get the monster to notice the other sith just laying about. No matter what outcome preceded, she hoped to come out on top.

Malkirth turned his head to Maldoran and just gave a chuckle as he shook his head. People were always so serious. Whether it was the Sith or the Republic, humour was sorely lacking on Tython. After about half an hour, he got up and groaned as he stretched. He needed to get back on his ship, at least he could have a laugh with his crew, if nothing else.
Meanwhile, a Padawan came to Maldoran's chambers and waited patiently while he meditated.

The Rancor roared in pain and thrashed around a few times before the blade twisted in its skull and it charged directly at Kral. The Kaleesh narrowed his eyes and waited before he jumped as well, flipping in the air as the great beast slammed its head into the cave wall, with V'alka still on its head. He swung his vibroblade as he passed overhead, aiming to slam it into the girl's back and finish her off with the immense shock that came with a vibroblade.

Inside Maldoran's chambers, humerously, were several poster and picture of the old canteena band he used to play in. For someone not of the Bith race, it might be a little hard to tell which one he was, but a couple solo-shots showed that he was always the one with the bassoon-like pipe horn with the long bocal. There was also the phrase "Shall I dare Disturb the Universe?" quoted somewhere. Besides that, only a few books on bookshelves remained. His chambers were fairly basic and minimal. "Yes, young padawan?" He said, opening his large black eyes. The padawan, fortunately, didn't have to wait long.

While the rancor may have caused a bit of commotion, V'alka was not so easily fooled as to think that Kal wouldn't try and end her the moment her usefulness was up. This was the sith way, after all. So, as he leaped in the air, ready to slam his blade into her back, she ducked and, with her blade still in the rancor, intercepted him mid-flight with a powerful kick to the chest, sending him back a ways. Afterwords, she snatched up her vibroblade from the dead rancor and jumped back towards the ground a few feet away from the Kaleesh, hopefully to finish him off.

"Master Ka-Korian has requested your presence in the Council Chambers." The Padawan said before bowing and leaving the room. By now, the Jedi Temple was a hive of activity, with the massive holocron in the entrance hall overseeing Jedi of all ages talking and training. People walked up and down the twin ramps that led to the second floor, researched in the library, chatted on the second floor balcony and were all just busy in general.

Before the girl even hit the ground, her gut was hit hard by a powerful Force push which sent her against the Rancor's corpse. Kral was standing again and walking forward with his Vibroblade in hand. His other hand raised and lightning sprang from it, arcing viciously towards V'alka.

Maldoran, being as determined as ever, walked through all of the Jedi Temple, including all its ramps and floors filled with busy people until he finally found himself before the Council Chambers. Finally, prepared for anything he walked inside. "Master Ka-Korian has requested me." He said plainly.

Despite all her training, she had never truly been blasted by the lightning of another sith. It stung and frankly, was one of the most painful things she'd experienced towards this point in her life. But, her quick thinking gave her an idea. She forced her vibroblade to her and, using all of her will to do so, caught any arcing lightning on the buzzing blade of the sword. Against all of the force of the blade, she managed to charge forward and let loose several powerful lightning-charged slashed with her sword, still catching some of the skew lightning all the while. While normally the blade buzzed, it seemed almost like a real lightsaber with all the energy flowing through it.

Ka-Korian was sitting in one of the chairs, along with Master Orgus Din, Master Tol Braga, Master Kiwiiks and Grand Master Satele Shan.
"Thank you for coming, Maldoran." Master Shan said. "Your news of Felucia is troubling, to say the least."
"If what you say is true, we have to investigate the Sith's sudden interest in this planet." Orgus continued. "Whatever it is, it can't bode well. Far from it, in fact. So, we've decided to send you with Master Ka-Korian to investigate."
"Remember that our mission is only to gain knowledge." Ka-Korian said. "We don't fight unless we have to."

Kral dodged and rolled away from the slashes and raised his hand, using the Force to toss several large chunks of rock from the ground to V'alka. At the same time, he charged forward, swinging his vibroblade with as much force as he could muster, force which would be enough to likely slice her in half, despite the weapon only being a vibroblade.
